With over 20 years of experience in high-end event design in New York City and luxury home retail in Franklin, TN, Alison Elkin opened Libby and Laine Floristry to bring her creative vision and love of timeless style and storytelling to life. Her gentle design approach, paired with meticulous attention to detail, defines her signature style of ease and refinement. Through thoughtful use of color, texture, and delicate forms, her designs strike the perfect balance of sophistication and effortless elegance.

 

Behind The Name

Named after Alison's grandmothers, Libby and Elaine, the brand captures the true essence of nostalgia and family. Both women were highly influential in Alison's life.  Libby, a Brooklyn schoolteacher who battled MS for most of her adult life, instilled a quiet strength and perseverance in Alison's outlook and approach.  Elaine, a timeless and fashionable 1950's housewife with a love for tradition and beautiful aesthetic, instilled a deep appreciation for beautiful things.  Together, they embody the characteristics of a true heritage brand; history, tradition, quality, and  timelessness.
